Formed in 1976 by a small group of local enthusiasts, the Club has since grown, in both membership and activities. The Club has a mixture of members from the "youngsters (of all ages) who have just bought their first 4WD, through the "young couples" who enjoy both the bushlands and the Club environment up to the "family" groups where everyone can get away from it all for the weekend.

While we are all individuals, we share a common interest...to use our 4WDs to enjoy what these great outdoors can offer. We believe the Club provides the ideal venue to satisfy this objective. As a foundation member of the state Association and National Council of 4WD Clubs, we are actively promoting and protecting four wheel driving as a responsible form of recreation. We enjoy a close cooperative relationship with National Parks, the local Councils and other Land Manager organizations.
